Writing has become another way for me to share stories, biblical truth, and lessons of faith.

The House on County Home Road

One of my major writing projects is The House on County Home Road, a historical novel set in Caswell County, North Carolina.

The story reaches back into the early nineteenth century and explores faith, family, community, hardship, and the lives of ordinary people whose stories become connected to the County Home.

The novel also reflects my appreciation for the history and character of Caswell County—the rolling hills, farms, pine forests, churches, creeks, country roads, and communities that helped shape the lives of generations.

My hope is that readers will not simply read the story but feel as though they have stepped into another time and place.
